Growing South End of Campus

Boise State has been producing more and more gradates every year and expanding in many ways. National data shows that just two other of our peer universities in the country have shown the kind of consistent growth in graduate programs that Boise State has exhibited over the past two decades. In this part of campus, you can see how the Micron Engineering Center is expanding, and the state-of-the-art Environmental Research Building. That building under construction across University Drive from Albertsons Stadium will be the Alumni and Friends Center, offering Broncos a place to convene and engage for life.

Albertsons Library

You've heard of Albertsons Stadium — well 50 years earlier, the same family of the grocery store magnate helped create one of Boise State's pride and joys: theAlbertsons LIbrary. If your Bronco has made it through a Finals Week, you've probably heard about it — it becomes the home away from home for many here on campus.

There are far more than just books in here. The library offers archives that look into the past, a vast network of electronic journals and publications available to all students, and a "maker space" with 3D printers and much more to free everyone's inner inventor.

New in the library space this year is the College of Innovation and Design and one of its innovative and exciting new majors: Gaming, Interactive Media and Mobile. The college, taking shape on the second floor, aims to re-imagine how we teach, learn and research here at Boise State University.

Once you've checked that out and cruised the halls, grab a Starbucks downstairs — you've earned it!
